Draft Scope/Description:

1.1
This Standard specifies the mechanical, electrical, and performance control requirements for integrated hydrogen fueling station (HFS) equipment (HFS modules) which transfer hydrogen from a source to vehicles with hydrogen fuel storage systems.


This Standard includes requirements for light, medium and heavy-duty vehicle fueling, including vehicles with H35, H70, LH2 and CcH2 fuel storage systems. 


Note: This Standard includes an informative annex A that provides methods to evaluate the hourly and daily capacity of an installed HFS.

Unless otherwise stated, the standard conditions are as follows: temperature 15 °C and pressure 101 kPa.

In case of conflict between this Standard and federal, provincial, state, or local regulations, governmental regulations take precedence.

All references to pressure throughout this Standard are to be considered gauge pressure unless otherwise specified.
